Keeping your SONR Coach fully charged ensures uninterrupted training sessions. Both the receiver (worn by the swimmer) and the radio transmitter (used by the coach) must be charged properly before practice.
Important:
If the receiver device is connected to the magnetic charger with the wrong polarization, it may cause permanent damage. Always check that the charger attaches naturally and securely to the charging pins.
Receiver Charging Instructions
Connect the magnetic charging cable to the receiver. The magnets will align the contacts automatically when positioned correctly.
Plug the other end into a USB port or certified wall charger.
Charge for about 3 hours before first use.
A full charge typically lasts through several training sessions, depending on intensity and duration.
Radio Charging Instructions
Place the radio transmitter onto its charging dock.
Ensure the connectors on the back of the radio align with the pins on the docking station.
The charging indicator should light up once properly connected.
Important Charging Tips
Always dry the receiver and charging contacts before charging.
Avoid charging near water, in bathrooms, or in humid environments.
If the device does not charge:
Check for dirt, salt, or moisture on the contacts.
Clean gently and try again.
Test with another USB power source if needed.
